For Dina, dreamwork is an art and a calling. She was thoroughly intentional in holding a safe, inclusive, and deeply sacred space for our group dreamwork. She put her heart, soul, and immense creativity into offering us various forms of active imagination, ritual, and expression to open doors for us into the realms of the imaginal and dreaming. There I discovered a new level of access to profound whisperings of my soul. And I gained new insights about how to accompany others on their spiritual journey.
— Mary Beth, Spiritual Companion

Dreams are the wellspring of our inner life.  They act as a looking glass into the condition of our psyche and soul.  Within dreams is the fount of the collective unconscious from which emerges universal truths along with our personal myths.  It is in developing this relationship with our dream world that we learn more about ourselves, face our shadow, and recognize the agency that can be restored in taking this dream journey. There is nothing more empowering than embracing that which belongs to us, especially our story.  Dreams are a mirror to that story that embodies both meaning and mystery.

Dreamwork within a group setting is quite powerful and imaginative. Group work offers the dreamer the chance to encounter their dream through the perspectives and experiences of others. We call this projection, and for a time, your dream becomes our dream.  The group gives voice to many meanings from which the dreamer may find resonance in their own story-making. This is both empowering and healing to have others reflect and illuminate the wisdom of our dreams.

Dream groups are intimate in size so that we may explore the depths of our dreaming. As a group we are bound by dream group ethics and confidentiality, but also through the brave and safe container created for dreamers to participate.

Below are examples of dream groups with curated themes.  Each week we will explore the dream landscape by way of our theme, and we will allow that lens to guide us throughout our time in group.  We will also work with a dream or two during our session.  Each participant will have the opportunity to share a dream if they choose. Dreamwork in a group setting is highly participatory.  There is no pressure to share, but participants will be encouraged to be involved in the process. As your facilitator and as a group, we will hold one another’s dreams as if they were our own.  This offers each dreamer the opportunity to experience their dream through another person’s perspective while allowing each member of the group to contemplate and reflect its meaning in their own lives.  In Jungian dreamwork, we call this soul work.
